The Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. decided to propose the bank's share capital increase for the purpose of acquiring Finansbank. The relevant issue will be included in the Daily Agenda of the Shareholders' Ordinary General Meeting, which will take place on April 27, 2006 instead of May 2, 2006, as it had been previously announced. Consequently, the Holder-of-Record Date of the dividend is changed from May 5, 2006 to May 3, 2006, while its payment will begin on May 12, 2006 and not on May 16, 2006.
