ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE FIRST HALF 2008 FINANCIAL RESULTS

HELLENIC PETROLEUM S.A. will announce its First Half 2008 Financial Results on Thursday, August 7, 2008, right after the close of the ASE, at 17:00 hours.

A conference call with analysts will follow at 18:00 hours.
