A decision of the Arbitration Court of the International Chamber of Commerce that was just issued has accepted substantially in their entirety claims asserted by ELPET-VALKANIKI S.A., subsidiary of HELLENIC PETROLEUM S.A., arising out of a long-standing dispute between ELPET-VALKANIKI S.A. and FYROM concerning the operational framework for ELPET-VALKANIKI S.A. and its subsidiaries. This award, in the amount of approximately USD50 million, is expected to strengthen the development of the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group in that country.
