a)A momentous decision and choice made by three companies ELLIKINI TECHNODOMIKI A.E., AKTOR S.A. and VOLOS' TECHNICAL COMPANY S.A. to join forces so as to become strong enough in order to face the challenge of a new generation of large projects in Greece and abroad, and
b)A thorough study of the business orientation for each of the Group's companies, enabling the optimum distribution and exploitation of its potential and experience.

This company is the result of the merger between ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI A.E. and VOLOS' TECHNICAL COMPANY S.A. (by absorption of the latter by the former) following the spin-off of their construction branches which were transferred to the Group's main contracting company AKTOR S.A.

In the first twenty five years from its establishment in 1955, ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI A.E. had almost exclusively been operating in the area of private sector constructions, with great success, and managed to become a market leader, having secured its scope of operations on behalf of standard clients. The company then expanded into public projects, with the same success, showing excellent performance in technologically state of the art projects, project management and the implementation of concession infrastructure projects.
