In reply to the letter of the Capital Market Committee dated 12.3.2008 regarding publications in the daily printed and electronic press, MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP (MIG) wishes to announce the following:

1. The publicly stated position of our Company that our participation in the National Telecommunications Organization (ΟΤΕ) is of a strategic nature and that we have no intention of establishing a minority representation in the Board of Directors of OTE remains unchanged, at least up to the present moment.

2. We have received offers from investment advisors of various interested strategic investors for co-operation and/or sale of the entirety or part of the shares we hold in OTE, however we have not decided to amend the nature of our investment and there is no information currently that should be announced.
