ANNOUNCEMENT ACCORDING TO LAW 3556/2007

MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP S.A. HOLDINGS announces that according to the Law 3556/2007, the Decision 1/434/03.07.2007 and the Circular nr. 33 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission that on January 16, 2008, MARFIN POPULAR BANK PUBLIC CO LTD, which is closely associated to Mr. Andreas Vgenopoulos, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of MIG, bought 156,500 common shares of the Company, with total net value of Euro 815,848.96.
