ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO LAW 3556/2007
July 16, 2008

Titan Cement Co. S.A. (the Company) announces pursuant to articles 3 and 21 of Law 3556/2007 in conjunction with article 11 of Decision 1/434/03.7.2007 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission that PIRAEUS BANK (the Bank) entered on 11/7/2008 a repurchase agreement, for 100 derivative contracts of common shares of the Company for a total value of euro 224.600.

This transaction has been duly notified to the Company pursuant to article 13 of Law 3340/2005 by Mr. Vasilios Fourlis, under his capacity as non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the Company and non-executive member of the Board of the Bank.
