Titan America LLC, a subsidiary of Titan Cement Company, announced that it is expanding the ready-mix concrete activities of its Mid-Atlantic business unit into eastern North Carolina. It has already secured sites to construct more than 20 plants over the next three years.

Titan America LLC is one of the premier cement and building materials producers in the Eastern United States, headquartered in Norfolk ,Va. and operates in U.S.A. inter alia two cement plants and 66 ready-mix concrete plants.

Titan is an independent cement and building materials producer, based in Greece. Titan owns and operates 11 cement plants in six countries. In 2005 the Group sold over 15 m. tons of cement and cementitious materials, over 5 m. m3 of ready-mix concrete, 20 m. tons of aggregates and various other building materials such as concrete blocks, dry mortars etc..
