ALAPIS SA announces that pursuant to the decision of the Prefecture of Athens with protocol number 5969/29.05.2009, it was approved the merger by absorption of its subsidiary companies "COMMERCE OF MEDICAL DEVICES AND SANITARY MATERIALS OMIKRON MEDICAL S.A." and "IMPORT INDUSTRIAL COMPANY FOR THE PROMOTION OF MEDICAL AND LABORATORY EQUIPMENT LABOMED S.A." by its subsidiary company "BIOCHEM DIAGNOSTICS S.A. FOR THE REPRESENTATION - IMPORT - COMMERCE OF DIAGNOSTIC - HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT & MEDICINES" that was realized according to C.L. 2190/1920, in conjunction with the provisions of articles 1-5 of L.2166/1993 as in force and following the decisions of the General Meetings of the merged companies dated 28.04.2009.

The new corporate name of the absorbing company is "ALAPIS MEDICAL & DIAGNOSTICS SOCIETE ANONYME FOR THE IMPORT AND COMMERCE OF DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL LABORATORY EQUIPMENT, MEDICAL MACHINERY OF SANITARY MATERIALS & MEDICAL PRODUCTS" and distinctive title "ALAPIS MEDICAL & DIAGNOSTICS".
