The plant of YALCO at Oinofita Viotias, consists the most important productive unit of aluminum cooking vessels in Greece, with non-stick surface.
The produced products are disposed by the well known brand “FEST” that possesses a leading position in the domestic market with a market share in volume of more than 40%. The export activity is also important. More than 30% of the plant's production is exported to more than 15 countries.

The large variety of produced products includes the most important categories of cooking vessels, like frying pans, kettle pots, saucepans, sauté pans, small coffee pots, barbecues, candy making and oven vessels (pans), and it can cover any of the consumer’s needs.

The experienced and specialized personnel of the plant, the modernization of the production process according to each time investment needs combined with the use of perfect quality raw materials, guarantee the excellent and long lasting quality of the products.

The plant is supplied the required raw materials from the most valuable and trust worthy for their products companies like ΑΚΖΟ ΝΟΒEL, WEILBURGER, DU PONT, WHITFORD, ELVAL, PYREX, FBM. The plant’s productive capacity per day (one shift operation), amounts from 8,000 to 10,000 vessels (depending on the product mix).

The plant is divided into two basic departments - subunits.

Α. Covering Department:

1. At the first production line of this department aluminum disks are used, which the company is supplied in different shapes and thickness depending on the final product's standards. The production process begins with the crossing of the aluminum disks from special automatic mechanical pulverisers, where the required roughness surface is created.
From the mechanical pulverisers the disks are directed to the covering departments where are covered by a non-stick material (PTFE).
Afterwards, the disks pass through specially made ovens that use as fuel natural gas, where the «burning process» and the stabilization of the covering material are made on the surface of disks. The frizzing of disks continues with the use of ventilators.

2. At the second production line, are already formed and utilized in presses, vessels and also vessels from cast-aluminium.
In this case the surface elaboration is made with sand blast and the purification of the covering vessels follows in special automatic washers.
Next the covering with the non-stick material (PTFE) is made in automatic spraying units and the crossing of the utensils from the line's ovens for the «burning process» and stabilization of the covering.

Β. Formation - Packaging Department:

At this department the formation of the covered disks is made with the use of presses, the "purification" of the vessels' rim and base with the use of face grinder (for its right contact with the fireside and its use).
The assembling of the vessels follows (handle, covers placing etc) and their packaging.
